For those of you not on Councillor Menard’s email distribution list, please see the notice below, sent out this morning announcing a change in the date and format of the Snow Clearance Forum originally planned for this Wednesday, February 27th.
Capital Ward Forum on Snow Clearance Replaced by Info Session on Snow Clearance for Urban Wards
Due to the Special Meeting of City Council on Wednesday February 27, 2019, the Capital Ward Forum on Snow Clearance will need to be postponed until the evening of March 20th. It will be held in City Council Chambers from 6:30 to 8:30 pm.
We apologize for the inconvenience and for the short notice, but it won’t be feasible to hold the Forum on the same day of the Special Meeting.
However, this delay allows us to expand the Forum. We have spoken with other urban councillors who have expressed interest in participating, and we will have greater access to city staff to provide information about current snow clearing protocols.
We appreciate that this is a significant issue with which all residents have been struggling for the past two months. We appreciate your understanding about this scheduling change, and we look forward to the expanded format of this forum.
