299 Carling – Zoning Approved/Park Consultation

The Canada Lands Company site at 299 Carling received zoning approval, with a new zoning bylaw released on January 26th. As per the application, the new zoning will allow buildings ranging in height from eight to 20 storeys, and the site will include space for a public park, as well as privately owned public space at the outcropping on Bell St S.

The next step will include a public consultation on the future park, slated for Lebreton St. S., at the north end of the property (just south of Hasenack Place). Consultations for the park engagement will be starting soon, although the date has yet to be determined.
