Recent weeks have been busy on the development front.
299 Carling, between Bell and Lebreton S. has finally been sold:
There are plans to develop 4 towers, with 750 residential units and 600,000 square feet of mixed-use space that will include a grocery store! We will share more details in the May edition of the Glebe Report.
In a much smaller scale, the white bungalow with the large lot at 522 Cambridge St S. has also been sold. There is a proposal in the works for a 4-storey, 19-unit apartment building, with 2 surface parking and 10 bicycle parking spaces. We expect the site plan to be on the city’s development application site soon, at which point we will share and provide more details.
Please see our latest Glebe Report story on the updated site plan for 770 and 774 Bronson Avenue and 557 Cambridge Street South. The building is largely unchanged on the outside, but an internal reconfiguration will result in about 22% more housing units and more underground parking on the site:
