Location: King’s Daughters and Sons Retirement Residence, 567 Cambridge St. S., (south of Carling Avenue)
Taggart is now considering construction of an 18-storey rental Seniors’ Residence– 2 storeys of which would provide extended care.
It should be noted that, contrary to previous indications, it is now contemplated that the Entrance, Exit and Lobby of the new building would be on Cambridge St S. No townhouses would be built on the south side of Clemow Avenue.
At a recent, informal meeting with members of GACA, Taggart representatives agreed to meet with Glebe Annex residents and neighbours to describe their plan, how this change of use would be implemented, and answer questions from a concerned community.
